Dress Code

Uniform Policy 2024/2025

Shirts

  • Must have collars, solid colors only.
  • Polo shirts, (collared), button dress shirts/blouses.
  • Turtlenecks, long sleeves, short sleeves
  • Any solid color.

Pants / Skirts

  • Plain pants, capri pants, shorts, skirts, jean skirts, shorts, and plain jeans. Leggings may be worn under uniform skirts.
  • Plain jean and uniform pants.
  • Colors: black, navy, tan/khaki, gray, and jeans.
  • No sweats, athletic shorts or jogging suits.

Jackets, etc.

  • Jackets that are worn outside only are exempt from the uniform dress code.
  • Sweaters and sweatshirts - pullover, button up or zipper - should be a solid color, if worn inside the building.

Special Note

  • No chains. No drawstrings on hoodies, pants, etc. This is for safety reasons.
  • Students must be in uniform dress code at all times. This includes "Special Days" such as field trips, picture days and Play Day unless designated by Administration.

All shirts and pants must be plain, without any designs, logos, writing, bling, or prints.

Friday Spirit Days

Students may wear plain jeans with a Tomasita pride-colored uniform shirt (purple or turqoise) or a Tomasita, Manzano, or other favorite team t-shirt or jersey.
